WOODBLOCK PRINTMAKING

Join Nick Wroblewski for four days of carving and printing explorations while investigating the methods of relief woodblock printmaking. Techniques covered include transfer, carving, reduction, and multi-block methods; simplifying the world of layers; reverse imagery; registration; and printing. Also included are guided discussions on imagery, abstraction, and conceptual intent. There will be good time for studio work, group discussion, demonstrations, and one-to-one guidance.
